Nursing care

High quality nursing care in the heart of Leicester

Based only 2.5 miles from Leicester city centre Hayes Park Nursing Home specialises in providing high quality care and support which is tailored to the needs of every individual. Our residential care provides a safe, warm and friendly environment, support with daily living tasks and the opportunity to enjoy the company of others. For those with more specialist health requirements, the team at Hayes Park have the expertise required to care for residents’ varying medical needs and requirements.

Person-centred approach

We take a person-centred approach to care planning, meeting individual needs and preferences while focussing on encouraging independence and building self-esteem. To do this, we work hard to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere which meets medical, emotional and physical needs.

Dementia support

Caring and compassion dementia care, which focusing on individual needs and abilities

At Hayes Park, our compassionate care teams work closely with families and healthcare professionals to create individualised dementia care plans based on personal history and the latest in best practice. Our dementia care is focussed on recognising the needs, capabilities and preferences of each individual, on celebrating and encouraging independence and on focussing on abilities, rather than disabilities.

We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with familiar items which make them feel at home and remind them of important milestones in their life. In addition, we offer a range of activities designed to offer mental and physical stimulation, while our communal areas encourage socialising and a sense of wellbeing.

Under 65s/early-onset dementia care

Our specialist approach to dementia care means that we are able to offer support to people under the age of 65. For those with early-onset dementia, the impact on daily living can be particularly significant. Our teams can support residents and their families to ensure the best possible quality of life.

We have only had a positive experience with the facility and especially the carers at Hayes Park. My father has been there for several months now, and in that time he has been looked after extremely well. The staff are amazingly caring, pay attention to the details and crucially actually spend time with the residents and treat them with love and dignity.
They set up frequent activities to keep everyone occupied, are aware and attentive to the medical details, and also keep family in the loop.
The rooms and space are clean and well looked after, and they also have good security in place for peace of mind.
Overall, this is a wonderful and safe place, with the most amazing staff you could ask for.
