I am a nurse trained and qualified in South Africa and the NMC registrant, with over two decades of progressive experience in Adult and Social Care in the UK. My career is built on a strong foundation across a range of nursing specialisms gained in South Africa, followed by continued professional growth within the UK health care sector.
I began my UK journey as a Staff Nurse and progressed into senior leadership roles within the organisation. I am passionate about working at New Day and supporting people who use our service to ensure they receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
I strongly believe in leading by example and working closely with my team. Coaching, developing and supporting staff to be the best they can be is one of my key strengths. I actively promote engagement and inclusivity, as I believe every team member has valuable skills and ideas that contribute to improving outcomes and enhancing the lives of people who live at New Day.

Protecting residents and staff
At New Day here in Birmingham area, we are following strict infection control measures in all Blissful care homes. By using appropriate PPE, carrying out frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents, we are doing all we can to limit the spread of infection.
Our new outdoor visiting marquee has been put in place to help our residents and their loved ones to reunite whilst complying with Government guidelines. The visitor pod at New Day provides a safe, weatherproof environment that is cleaned thoroughly between visits. All visits must be booked in advance. Get in touch to find out more.
