One of today’s activities involved celebrating St George’s Day in advance of tomorrow – 23rd April 2021. Our lovely residents sat around tables colouring in dragons and making flags. The residents could choose whichever colours they wanted. We also had background music, so it became a very relaxing atmosphere. Many of the residents took part in the activity as it was an opportunity to do something a little different and reminisce about how they celebrated in the past.
This particular activity means that the residents can socialise with each other and many have become great friends and enjoy the chance to have a catch up. They were very proud of what they achieved and gave encouragement to each other.
Perhaps we will have art art exhibition in the future showing off our residents hidden artistic talents!
