We had a very special 8 year old visiting Coppermill today with her mum! She kept some of the residents very busy chatting about school, friends, her recent gymnastics competition and what she likes cooking! The residents were beaming in her company and so lively as they reminisced about their own memories and shared them with our little visitor! We even played a memory ball game together, allowing residents to practice a little light exercise, movement and hand eye co-ordination, whilst reminiscing about their past and sharing special moments with us whilst we played together.

Finally a cup of tea and some biscuits for everybody to wind down after a fun filled afternoon of games and friendly chit chat!

The residents love being social and having company as it really lifts their mood, they share beautiful stories and it is a privilege for us to be able to care for them. Do pop in to see us if you have some time, they love having visitors over!
