As a company, we firmly believe that our employees are our most valuable resource. Our reputation as a warm and friendly care home is a testament to the team’s caring and professional approach, as well as their ability to make the residents smile.
To ensure that all of our employees have the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform their jobs to the highest level, we provide continuous training and ongoing development.
We do this via a comprehensive induction, training under the Skills for Care programme and an insistence that staff achieve their Care Certificate. In addition, staff are supported and encouraged to obtain national qualifications such as NVQs in Care or Health and Social Care.
Digital care planning system
We access and update all care plans on handheld devices or PCs, resulting in increased accountability, better reporting, and greater efficiency than paper-based care records. This frees up time for us to do what we do best, which is to spend quality time with our residents.
Multi-disciplinary care
Supporting older people often means dealing with healthcare needs, long-term conditions and end-of-life care. To meet this need, we have built strong links within the local communities to build an extended team of local GPs, mental health teams, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dentists, opticians and other healthcare professionals. This multi-disciplinary, multi-agency approach allows us to meet a variety of diverse needs and provide a holistic approach to care.
