Today the residents enjoyed celebrating “Holi”, the Hindu festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life.
For many people, Holi is more a time for fun. It is a colourful festival, with dancing, singing and games involving the throwing of powder paint and coloured water. Holi is also known as the “festival of colours”.
Our residents had a lovely time participating in the games and expressing themselves through their colours choices whilst experiencing another culture! We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed the dancing and movement too!
