This “Thankful Thursday” we were busy practicing gratitude!
This was such a heart warming activity and we could really see the benefits this had on our residents.
Practicing gratitude can have many benefits amongst the elderly and those suffering from dementia. The benefits of being grateful and actively reflecting on what we are thankful for can improve our general sense of well being as it helps to:
- improve mental and physical health
- build stronger relationships
- achieve a greater sense of well-being and happiness
