Broadmead Resthome (based on the border of Hampshire and West Berkshire) invited the NHS to Broadmead Resthome for tea and cake to thank them for all their support they have given during the pandemic – being there when we needed them most.
In the lead up to the celebration the residents did several crafts thanking the NHS by making salt paintings, poster and making little knitted hearts that we gave to the NHS along with a box of chocolates to say thank you.
The weather was changeable but at the last minute the sun came out and residents were able to come out into the garden for tea and cakes to thank the Nurses.
We had the Rrats team and Dr Hobby visit from Woolton Hill Surgery. A lovely afternoon was had by all. Thank you to all those who were able to visit and thank you also to everyone all over the country who has been working tirelessly to help protect our loved ones during some very very difficult times.
