Our talented staff team have been busy over the last couple of days completing their first aid training. Staff from all departments were involved in a 2 day training course and seized the opportunity to update, renew and enhance their skills.

First aid training (alongside so many others) is important in residential homes because it helps our care professionals respond to emergencies and prevent injuries from worsening. Covering a wide range of situations, first aid training saves lives, prevents deterioration and promotes recovery. Furthermore, for our care staff it also means it helps build confidence in the team as they are competent in handling emergencies and improves team and individual morale.
