Based only 2.5 miles from Leicester city centre Hayes Park Nursing Home specialises in providing high quality care and support which is tailored to the needs of every individual. Our residential care provides a safe, warm and friendly environment, support with daily living tasks and the opportunity to enjoy the company of others. For those with more specialist health requirements, the team at Hayes Park have the expertise required to care for residents’ varying medical needs and requirements.

We take a person-centred approach to care planning, meeting individual needs and preferences while focussing on encouraging independence and building self-esteem. To do this, we work hard to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere which meets medical, emotional and physical needs.

At Hayes Park, our compassionate care teams work closely with families and healthcare professionals to create individualised dementia care plans based on personal history and the latest in best practice. Our dementia care is focussed on recognising the needs, capabilities and preferences of each individual, on celebrating and encouraging independence and on focussing on abilities, rather than disabilities.

We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with familiar items which make them feel at home and remind them of important milestones in their life. In addition, we offer a range of activities designed to offer mental and physical stimulation, while our communal areas encourage socialising and a sense of wellbeing.

End of life care

Handling end of life care with dignity and respect

At Hayes Park Nursing Home, we provide sensitive and compassionate end of life care. We do all that we can to ensure that people’s medical, emotional and physical needs met with dignity, care and respect. Our caring and compassionate team are also there to support family members and loved ones, offering emotional and practical support during your time of need.

We are pleased to offer shorter-term respite and convalescent care at Hayes Park. We understand that caring for a loved one can put a huge strain on families. Whether you need respite care while you take a holiday, have a break or tend to your own well-being, or short term overnight or day care, we are happy to discuss your requirements.

Day Care

Our day care offers the opportunity to take a break, meet new people and engage in new activities.

We value everyone’s safety

We have undertaken the following and measures to maximise the safety and wellbeing of everyone connected to our homes:

  • PPE is provided
  • We practice social distancing
  • The in-house cleaning regime has been enhanced
  • Additional precautions in place for new residents
  • Vaccinations have been rolled out at each home
  • Thermal scanning / temperature checking in at all homes on arrival
  • Regular testing for colleagues and residents

Visiting pods and face to face visits

Being able to meet family and friends is vital. Our residents and teams have missed having visitors. We are excited to confirm we have purpose built new visiting pods or dedicated sheltered outdoor visiting areas for visitors. Contact us to make an appointment.

Where it’s possible and local restrictions allow, we are welcoming face to face visits.

You are also able to arrange virtual face to face visits to meet your loved ones as well as arrange regular telephone conversations if you prefer.

 

New enquiries and admissions

Our teams are happy to assist you with any enquires you have. New admissions are taking place for nursing, residential, dementia, mental health care, long and short term care, day care and night care. We may be able to facilitate a viewing and have a friendly chat outdoors to assist you further.
