We have been busy celebrating several special days at Broadmead this month which included “Poem on your Pillow” day.

The residents listened to poetry and read poems in activities and enjoyed cloudy lemonade with a slice whilst listening to various poems.

When it came to going to bed, the resident’s had a poem placed on their pillow to read or staff supported them by reading the poem to them. Such a tranquil and peaceful way end a busy day.
