Easter weekend was filled with colour, joy, and plenty of chocolate here at Hayes Park, as we celebrated the season with a variety of fun and meaningful activities for our residents.
From decorating the home with bright, springtime touches to sharing hot cross buns and Easter chocolates, the atmosphere was warm and festive. We held a lively Easter party, complete with music, laughter, and themed games that brought everyone together in celebration.
Fun for the Mind and Spirit
Residents also enjoyed seasonal puzzles and quizzes, which sparked conversation, teamwork, and a healthy bit of competition! These activities are not only enjoyable, but also help stimulate memory and cognitive function, especially valuable for those living with dementia.
A Taste of Tradition
Whether it was reminiscing over the taste of warm hot cross buns or the simple joy of unwrapping Easter treats, the weekend gave residents a chance to connect with cherished traditions and each other.
Moments That Matter
Holidays like Easter are a wonderful opportunity to create a sense of occasion, bring people together, and make our home feel even more like family. The smiles, the stories, and the shared moments made this Easter one to remember and we’re already looking forward to the next celebration on our calendar!
