With the lovely weather recently, our residents have been soaking up the sunshine and fresh air out in the garden and the smiles say it all!

Spending time outdoors isn’t just enjoyable, it brings real benefits for wellbeing, especially for older adults and those living with dementia. A bit of sun can help:

  • Boost mood and vitamin D

  • Improve sleep and appetite

  • Spark memories and conversation

  • Reduce feelings of restlessness or anxiety

Whether it’s a quiet moment with a cup of tea or a cheerful chat in the sun, these simple pleasures make a big difference.
